So it's been a bit of a rough start for the three of us! Between a sore foot for Kim and all day meetings for Jess, not to mention some puking and flu symptoms for yours truly, our week hasn't been what you'd call stellar!
Frankly, I'm blaming the flu stuff on Kim's youngest child. I was at her place Sunday night and sure, maybe he was the picture of health and happiness and exhuberant youth, but I kissed his sweet, chubby, cherub cheek when she was putting him to bed (which he absolutely hated by the way and got quite distraught over the fact that I had kissed him) and by the very next day I was struck with the black plague. We all know that kids are walking little germ fests and while they themselves are immune to the germy little germs they're carrying around, the rest of us are like sitting ducks to them.
But I digress. Even with the black plague I managed to get 8 glasses of water in both Monday and Tuesday; it may not have all stayed down but I drank it so it still counts dammit! Exercise has been nil and I'm not even going to bother with a detailed food journal.
Tonight my mission is to get some pictures and measurements done so that I can post them for the world to see. Oddly enough, I'm not embarrassed by this at all. I think when you reach a certain point of obesity, what does it matter if people know your weight or measurements? At this level of fat, it's not like you can hide your rolls with a loose t-shirt or suck things in with a a spanx undergarment. It is what it is people. Although I do prefer to rock the loose flowy dress look. The ones that hug the boobs and hide the gut? The empire dress - a fat girl's best friend! Although there is always the danger of looking pregnant. Whatever bitches- I rock the empire dress look!
I love the empire waist! It's awesome!
